Your Rights as a Health Plan Enrollee
You have the right to receive health care appointments within certain timeframes and to receive interpreter services at no cost to you if you need them.
Appointment Timeframe Standards:
- Urgent care (no prior authorization required): within 48 hours
- Urgent care (prior authorization required): within 96 hours
- Non-urgent primary care: within 10 business days
- Non-urgent specialist care: within 15 business days
- Non-urgent mental health or substance use care (non-physician): within 10 business days
- Non-urgent follow-up mental health or substance use care: within 10 business days
- Non-urgent ancillary services: within 15 business days
Interpreter Services:
You have the right to receive interpreter services in your preferred language at your appointment, if needed.
