Mask up — even if you’ve gotten a COVID-19 vaccine

Community Health System is in the middle of another surge of COVID-19, now battling against the Delta variant. New research finds that the new variant is much more infectious than the initial COVID-19 virus.
 
During the first months of the pandemic, we were able to bring down the rate of COVID-19 transmission through social distancing, limiting time with others and masking. Currently, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention also recommends you wear a mask indoors even if you’ve been vaccinated.
